The development of the sports industry is becoming an important economic growth point in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. This report discusses the development environment，current situation，challenges and countermeasures of the sports industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The report indicates that this area has advantages in economic performance，opening-up capacity，well-developed transportation network and common cultural background. Besides，favorable policy，advanced sports facility，various sports events as well as plenty of sports institutions and sports talents provide advantage for the development of sports industry in this area. However，there are several disadvantages such as different institution，difficulties in policy implementation and poor circulation of industrial element. Based the research，this report provides suggestions for the development of the sports industry in this area from five aspects：institutional innovation，development environment improvement，sports industry integration improvement，dual circulation implementation and online sports development.
